For example, it is obligatory to live and work in Canada for at least two years (out of five). However, if you do not succeed in staying in the country during two years, you may still preserve the permanent resident status. It is only possible if:\r\n\u2981 You are an accompanying person of one or both parents who have the permanent resident status in Canada;\r\n\u2981 You are an employee of a Canadian company (in a government institution of a federal or provincial level);\r\n\u2981 You are a child, living with parents who have the permanent resident status and work for a Canadian company (in a government institution of a federal or provincial level);\r\n\r\nIf you have the permanent resident status in Canada, but living outside the country, in order to return, you will have to receive the \u201cdocument that facilitates entry into Canada\u201d.
