Usually, apartment search in Canada takes 1-2 weeks.\r\n\r\nIn order to lease an apartment, an agreement between the owner of the apartment and the tenant has to be concluded. Usually, the lease agreement term is one year with possibile prolongation in case both parties are satisfied, have no complains or do not intend to terminate the agreement. However, lately apartments are being more often leased under so-called leasing agreement. The essence of such agreement is that the tenant bears full financial responsibility for the apartment during the year of residence and excludes its early termination.\r\n\r\nBefore signing the agreement, pay special attention to the utilities included into the rental.
